A watershed-focused master plan for future improvements to K-6 “River Campus,” whose seat at the lower core of a watershed lends it the potential to collect and influence a large amount of surface runoff from the Bronx to the Hudson River.

The proposed organization of space responds to existing programming and makes meaningful connections between the campus and its context. Forested edges are blurred, situating the grounds within the surrounding forest, while water’s descent is made more legible, stitching together the uphill and downhill sides of the campus watershed, providing a framework for outdoor pedagogy.
